Faculty and Staff Development committee at Oman Medical College, Sohar organized a workshop ‘Hands on Research proposal Writing” on Saturday 1st February, 2014.

The workshop aimed to reinforce awareness amongst the faculty about the basic principles of research and hands on practice how to write a proposal. Delegates were sent a guide line and reading materials in advance of the workshop to provide some background context and stimulate constructive write up on the day of workshop. Organizing committee greatly appreciated the high level of interest in this workshop and engagement by the delegates with the discussion on the day. There was a clear message that delegates want to see progress in research capacity building within the next few months. Medical College and MOH collaborating to deliver learning research opportunities across regions and center, greater networking and sharing of ideas, knowledge and resources.
